چکیده

A full-duplex non-orthogonal multiple access (FD-NOMA) systems are expected to play a significant role in fifth generation (5G) networks, addressing spectrum efficiency and massive connections. In this regard, the feasibility of FD communications improve utilization is main consideration term outage performance. Specifically, we derive exact formulas probability for FD-NOMA, over Nakagami-m fading channels. Extensive analysis revealed that higher quality channel leads better We verify expressions throughout Monte-Carlo simulations.

Antenna Selection in Full-Duplex Cooperative NOMA Systems

We investigate the problem of antenna selection (AS) in full-duplex (FD) cooperative non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) systems, where a multi-antenna FD relay assists transmission from a multi-antenna base station (BS) to a far user, while at the same, the BS transmits to a near user. Specifically, based on the end-to-end signal-to-interferenceplus-noise ratio at the near and far users, two...

Spatially Random Relay Selection for Full/Half-Duplex Cooperative NOMA Networks

This paper investigates the impact of relay selection (RS) on the performance of cooperative non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), where relays are capable of working in either full-duplex (FD) or half-duplex (HD) mode. A number of relays (i.e., K relays) are uniformly distributed within the disc. A pair of RS schemes are considered insightfully: 1) Single-stage RS (SRS) scheme; and 2) Two-sta...

DMT of Multi-hop Cooperative Networks - Part II: Half-Duplex Networks with Full-Duplex Performance

We consider single-source single-sink (ss-ss) multihop relay networks, with slow-fading links and single-antenna half-duplex relay nodes. While two-hop cooperative relay networks have been studied in great detail in terms of the diversitymultiplexing gain tradeoff (DMT), few results are available for more general networks. In a companion paper, we characterized end points of DMT of arbitrary ne...

Analysis of Full-Duplex Downlink Using Diversity Gain

The paper carries out performance analysis of a multiuser full-duplex (FD) communication system. Multiple FD UEs share the same spectrum resources, simultaneously, at both the uplink and downlink. This results in co-channel interference (CCI) at the downlink of a UE from uplink signals of other UEs. This work proposes the use of diversity gain at the receiver to mitigate the effects of the CCI....

Energy-Efficient Cooperative Cognitive Relaying Protocols for Full-Duplex Cognitive Radio Users and Delay-Aware Primary Users

This paper considers a network in which a primary user (PU) may cooperate with a cognitive radio (CR) user for transmission of its data packets. The PU is assumed to be a buffered terminal operating in a time-slotted fashion. We develop two protocols which involve cooperation between primary and secondary users. To satisfy certain quality of service requirements, users share time slot durations...
